How do you do planes of symmetry? Are there any good websites?

My maths homework says to find as many panes of symmetry as you can on harder shapes. I know that a cube should have 9 but I don'tt understand why. Please can anyone try to explain or suggest a good website? Please can I have some answers as soon as possible? I am REALLY desperate and I have lots of other homework to do! Thanks.
