What right do these fools have? I might be a suspect in my neighbor's house brake in.?

My neighbor's house was broken into, or should I say my parent's house's neighbor's house. I am 24 years old and within a month of moving out, and this morning at 10am the police officer said the neighbor's alarm went off and the house was broken into. There were footprints leading from our driveway to the back of their house, (there's a foot of snow on the ground.) I did not have the vaguest idea of any of this happening until tonight when I was awoken from a nap to be questioned by this ******* detective officer. I don't know if he thought I was a suspect due to my age and being home at the time, but I did not see or hear anything strange at all and this jerk may have been probing me as a suspect I could not tell. Do I need a lawyer, there's no way they could accuse me without reasonable evidence? My Dad's talking to all the neighbor's and telling them I was home when it happened like there's some ******* way I was supposed to hear or know what was happening and hour after I had just woke up. What are the chances I will be questioned again or that footprints to my driveway is suspicous?
