Minerals under microscope !?

There is no way to easily identify minerals in thin section until you learn how to identify quartz easily. You need an optical mineralogy textbook, or more than one text-book. The two that I've been using since 1977/1978 are listed below in sources. There were NOT required text-books. I special ordered them.
