Help on Christmas trees?

i have a real tree and it is wedged in a block at the bottom (it has no roots) i dont know what to do with it as it has started to wilt, it was fone last night, and i got up this morning and it was a mess, the branches had wilted that mutch that the lights are falling off and got no tinsel on as its dropped of aswell help please, its the thought of waking up christmas day and not having a tree and by the way the tree is 3.5 foot tall thanks :)
