Bearded Dragon Help Please?
I own two juvenile Bearded Dragons, i'm not sure how old they are exactly but they are roughly 5 - 6 months old. My problem is, for almost two months they've been spending at least 50% - 70% of the day (not including night time) asleep under their rock or inside their cave. They still drink water from their bowls regularly. My female BD is eating 5 - 10 crickets every few days and my male is eating a bit less. They don't have impaction because after feeding they do their 'thing' when they need to but the female has began getting fatter and fatter even though she hasn't been eating much and is still pooping after eating. What I want to know is, is it normal for their behavior to be like this since its winter here in Australia? Are they brumating? Could my female bearded dragon be getting ready to lay her 1st fake or possibly fertilized eggs already? If this isn't normal, what can I do to help them get back on track? Please answer if you know whats best for them, I really want to make them healthy again because i've been worried for awhile but I cant take them to the vet because there aren't any exotic pet vets anywhere near me. PLEASE HELP!
